About This Collection
The bestselling art prints here are built around what actually sells, so the list moves as new prints arrive and older ones catch on. At the moment it falls into four clear groups.
Dogs with opinions. The Whippet Morning Quote Print is the best seller in this collection by a clear margin: a whippet and the words "Oooooh Big Stretch", which is as close to a morning routine as most whippets get. The Pug Art Print, the Greyhound Wine Print and the Dog Wine Print follow, the last two for households where the dog is present at every glass of wine whether invited or not. The dog prints collection has the breeds that haven't made the list yet.
Cats at rest. The Sleeping Tabby Cat Print, the Black Cat Reading Print, the Persian Cat Portrait Print and the Cats on Clouds Print show cats in their natural state, which is horizontal or close to it. The Say When Cat Wine Print is the exception: a cat that is very much awake once the wine comes out. There are plenty more in the cat prints collection.
Japanese landscapes and nature. The Natural Forest Print is the second best seller here, with the Kyoto Flower Garden Print, the Flying Cranes Print and the Kyoto Forest Reserve Print close behind. These are the calm end of the list, prints for living rooms and bedrooms where the aim is to lower the heart rate rather than raise a laugh.
Bathroom humour. The Japanese Frog Bathroom Print leads a small group of bathroom prints, including the Are You Pooping? Cat Print and its dog and goose equivalents, which prove that a joke in the right room lasts a surprisingly long time.
For the newest prints, some of which will end up here, see New In. For more character-led prints in the same spirit, the funny wall art collection is the natural next stop.
What rooms suit bestselling art prints?
Bedrooms are where the top sellers most often end up. A morning quote print opposite the bed does its job every day, and the sleeping and reading cats suit rooms meant for winding down.
Living rooms suit the Japanese forest and garden prints. At A2 or A1, the Natural Forest Print or the Kyoto Flower Garden Print gives a room a calm centre of gravity without needing a gallery wall around it.
Kitchens and dining rooms suit the wine prints and the food-loving animals. The Say When Cat Wine Print and the Cat Pizza Print both work in rooms where people gather and a print that raises a smile earns its place.
For gallery walls, the bestsellers mix well with the wider animal prints collection and, in a kitchen, with the food and drinks prints.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which prints are the most popular right now?
Within this collection, the Whippet Morning Quote Print has sold the most over the past year, followed by the Natural Forest Print, the Sleeping Tabby Cat Print and the Say When Cat Wine Print. Dogs, cats and Japanese nature prints make up most of the list, with a small but loyal following for the bathroom prints.
Are bestsellers a safe choice for a gift?
Bestselling art prints are about as close to a safe bet as a print gets, because other people have already chosen them for their own walls. The Japanese nature prints suit almost any home, the reading and sleeping cat prints suit cat owners and readers, and the whippet and greyhound prints are reliably welcomed by anyone who shares a sofa with a sighthound.
Do the bestsellers work as a set?
Some pair more easily than others. The Japanese forest and garden prints share a palette and hang together naturally in twos and threes, and the animal prints work well in pairs, a dog on one side and a cat on the other. Buy 2, save 10%; buy 3, save 15%, applied automatically at checkout.
What sizes are available?
Most prints are available in sizes from 5x7 up to A1, with both metric and US paper sizes. Full size options are shown on each individual product page. For bedrooms and reading corners, A4 and A3 suit the animal prints, while the Japanese landscapes benefit from A2 or A1 in a living room.
Can all prints be ordered framed?
Yes. All prints can be ordered framed. We're rolling framed options out across the site, so individual listings will show whether a framed version is currently available. If you'd like a framed version of a print that doesn't yet have that option listed, get in touch and we'll sort it for you.
What is the print quality like?
Prints are produced on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper using a 12-colour press with a matte, glare-free finish. The soft greens of the Japanese forest prints and the warm tones of the animal prints both rely on that colour accuracy to look right on the wall.
Where do you ship and how long does delivery take?
We ship worldwide via Gelato's global print network, meaning your order is fulfilled close to where you live. Most orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days. Free shipping applies to US and UK orders.
