About This Collection
Every print in this collection is built around a setting, somewhere you could point to, or at least imagine pointing to. The eleven prints fall into three groups.
Japanese scenes. The Cherry Blossom Torii Print is the best seller here, with a torii gate and cherry blossom doing what they do best. The Mount Fuji Horses Print puts horses in front of Japan's most famous mountain, and the Tea Field Hills Print, the Village Festival Print and the Vintage Rowboat Print complete a set of scenes that also sit in the wider Japanese wall art collection.
Western scenes. Three cowgirl horse prints come as variations on one idea: the Rhinestone Cowgirl Horse Print, the Midnight Cowgirl Horse Print and the Baby Blue Cowgirl Horse Print. The Main Street Cowboy Duck Print and the Skyline Cowgirl Duck Print then hand the frontier over to ducks, who appear to be managing. There's more in this vein in the western wall art collection.
The coast. The Ocean Studies Cornwall Wave Print is the odd one out and the boldest of the lot: a wave study named for the Cornish coast, and a good fit for the coastal wall art collection too.
For prints of specific cities and destinations, the location and travel prints collection is the place to look, and the Japanese wall art collection has many more Japanese landscape prints.
What rooms suit scenic wall art?
Living rooms suit the Japanese scenes, which reward being hung somewhere you sit and look for a while. A single print at A2 or A1 does a fair impression of a window.
Hallways suit the western prints and the cowboy ducks, which are quick to read and a good thing to pass on the way out of the door. The hallway wall art collection has more for that space.
Home offices suit the Cornwall wave print, for a bit of sea air between video calls.
For a gallery wall, mix a Japanese landscape or the Cornwall wave with prints from the coastal wall art collection and the location and travel prints collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of prints are in this collection?
Eleven place-led prints: five Japanese scenes (Cherry Blossom Torii, Mount Fuji Horses, Tea Field Hills, Village Festival and Vintage Rowboat), five western prints (three cowgirl horse prints and two cowboy duck prints), and a bold Cornwall wave study.
Are scenic prints good gifts?
Yes, especially when the place means something. The Japanese scenes suit anyone who has been to Japan or is planning to go, the cowgirl horse and cowboy duck prints suit horse lovers and anyone with a western streak, and the Cornwall wave suits people who holiday in Cornwall every year and would like the wall to know about it.
What sizes are available?
Most prints are available in sizes from 5x7 up to A1, with both metric and US paper sizes. Full size options are shown on each individual product page. The Japanese landscapes and the Cornwall wave suit A2 or A1 in a living room; the western and duck prints work well at A4 or A3 in hallways and offices.
Can all prints be ordered framed?
Yes. All prints can be ordered framed. We're rolling framed options out across the site, so individual listings will show whether a framed version is currently available. If you'd like a framed version of a print that doesn't yet have that option listed, get in touch and we'll sort it for you.
What is the print quality like?
Prints are produced on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper using a 12-colour press with a matte, glare-free finish.
