About This Collection
The Japanese art collection at Haze & Juniper draws on several distinct visual traditions: Ukiyo-e woodblock printing, with its bold outlines and flat color fields; the Japandi aesthetic, which pairs Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian simplicity; and wabi-sabi inspired illustration that finds quiet beauty in everyday objects and natural scenes.
The collection also has a lighter side. Alongside the landscape and nature prints, you'll find Japanese cat prints, illustrated animal scenes, and Japanese bathroom prints that borrow the visual language of traditional Japanese illustration and do something a bit unexpected with it. Calm and characterful prints that often sit comfortably in the same room.
If you're drawn to the Japandi side of this collection, our botanical prints and vintage prints share a similar considered, pared-back quality.
What rooms suit Japanese wall art?
Japanese prints tend to work best in spaces where the goal is calm rather than noise. Bedrooms, home offices, and reading corners are natural fits, where muted palettes and considered compositions work well against neutral walls and complement natural materials like wood, linen, and rattan.
The illustrated and bathroom prints in this collection also perform well in bathrooms, where a single strong image tends to do more than a gallery wall would. For living rooms, larger landscape prints such as the Kyoto Forest Reserve Print, Japan Mount Fuji Print, and Japanese Cedar Forest Print make confident standalone pieces without needing to compete for attention.

Are these prints framed?
Prints are sold unframed unless stated otherwise. Check the individual listing for framed availability, as we're currently introducing framed options on selected products. For unframed prints, standard frames from Amazon or IKEA, or most home stores fit the paper sizes well.
What paper are the prints printed on?
All prints are produced on 200gsm smooth matte fine art paper with a glare-free finish. Customers consistently note that the matte surface looks cleaner and more quality-feeling in person than they expected. No shine, no reflections.
Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?
We ship worldwide. Orders are fulfilled via a global print network, which means your print is produced domestically, close to where you live rather than shipped internationally from a single warehouse. Most orders arrive within 2–5 business days.
