Collection: Orange Wall Art Prints

Orange wall art does to a room what a low evening sun does to a garden: it warms up everything it touches. A little goes a long way, which is exactly why orange prints are so useful. One on a white wall reads as cheerful, two beside a navy sofa read as a plan. This collection covers poppy fields and cactus flowers, a trio of Bauhaus 1923 prints, citrus prints for the kitchen, poolside and beach umbrella scenes, loose watercolour abstracts, and a handful of animals, from resting tigers to a gecko, who suit the colour better than most.

All prints are unframed on 200gsm matte fine art paper, from 5x7 up to A1, with framed options available. Free shipping to the US and UK. Ships worldwide.

About This Collection

Orange is the most sociable colour on the wheel. It gets on with pink, looks sharp against navy and teal, and makes cream and white walls look deliberate rather than unfinished. The orange prints here split into four main strands.

The orange floral prints are the biggest group, and there are more poppies here than in most allotments. The Orange Poppy Field Print, the Poppies Reaching Up Print and the Poppy Panel Grid Print all make the most of the flower's colour, while the Marigold Field Print is the most popular floral in the collection. The Potted Cactus Print, the Cactus Flower Vase Print and the Orange Folk Flower Print bring a drier, more graphic take on the same warmth.

The summer and kitchen prints are orange at its most cheerful. The Poolside Loungers Print, the Orange Beach Umbrella Print and the Summer Window Print all feel like the first proper day of a holiday, and the Poolside Cat Cocktails Print features a cat who has clearly gone all-inclusive. In the kitchen, the Squeeze The Day Orange Print, the Duck à l'Orange Print and the Persimmon Still Life Print do the work.

The abstract and Bauhaus prints are the most architectural. The Bauhaus 1923 Print comes with Circles and Pattern companions, and for orange abstract wall art beyond that, the Retro Sun Abstract Print, the Stacked Ovals Abstract Print and the Pink Orange Abstract Print range from mid-century shapes to watercolour washes. The Bauhaus collection has more.

The animal prints round things out. The Flying Cranes Print is the best seller here, the Resting Tigers Print and the King of the Sea Octopus Print lean Japanese, and the Sassy Cowgirl Cat Print has an attitude that orange suits very well.

If you like warm colour, the red collection and the yellow collection sit either side of orange on the colour wheel and mix with it easily.

What rooms suit orange wall art?

Kitchens and dining rooms are the natural home for orange kitchen wall art: the citrus, persimmon and food prints. Orange looks fresh against white tiles and warm against wood, and a print that says squeeze the day is hard to argue with before breakfast.

Living rooms suit the abstracts, the Bauhaus prints and the larger poppy prints. Orange with navy, teal or deep green is a reliably good pairing, and an A2 or A1 abstract above a sofa gives the room a focal point on its own.

Bedrooms suit the softer pieces. Orange and pink wall art, like the watercolour abstracts, feels warm rather than loud, which suits a room meant for switching off.

For gallery walls, use orange as the thread that ties the prints together and let the subjects vary. The poolside and beach prints mix well with the summer collection, and a Bauhaus print gives a floral wall some structure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What colours go with orange wall art?

Orange works best with colours that either calm it down or match its confidence. Navy, teal and deep green calm it down; pink and red match it for a warm, sunny scheme. Cream, white and warm grey let it take centre stage. If you're nervous, start with a print where orange is one colour among several.

What kinds of orange prints are in this collection?

The collection includes poppy, marigold, cactus and folk flower prints; summer prints of beach umbrellas, poolside loungers and ice lollies; citrus and food prints for kitchens; Bauhaus 1923 prints and warm abstracts, including several in orange and pink; and animal prints featuring cranes, tigers, an octopus, a flamingo, a gecko and a cowgirl cat or two.

Do the Bauhaus 1923 prints work as a set?

Yes. The Bauhaus 1923 Print, the Circles version and the Pattern version share a name and a palette, and as a row of three they make a strong, graphic statement above a sofa or desk. The buy 2, save 10%; buy 3, save 15% offer is applied automatically at checkout, which suits a trio like this.

What sizes are available?

Most prints are available in sizes from 5x7 up to A1, with both metric and US paper sizes. Full size options are shown on each individual product page. For kitchens and small spaces, A4 and A3 suit the citrus and food prints, while the abstracts and Bauhaus prints hold their own at A2 or A1 in a living room.

Can all prints be ordered framed?

Yes. All prints can be ordered framed. We're rolling framed options out across the site, so individual listings will show whether a framed version is currently available. If you'd like a framed version of a print that doesn't yet have that option listed, get in touch and we'll sort it for you.

What is the print quality like?

Prints are produced on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper using a 12-colour press with a matte, glare-free finish. The 12-colour process keeps oranges clean and vivid, so a poppy stays bright rather than turning a muddy rust.

Where do you ship and how long does delivery take?

We ship worldwide via Gelato's global print network, meaning your order is fulfilled close to where you live. Every print is made to order and dispatched promptly, then arrives within 2 to 5 business days of dispatch. Free shipping applies to US and UK orders.
