Collection: New in

New wall art prints land here first. The latest batch is a mixed one: a series of aliens getting on with ordinary life, autumn bookshops and folk-style harvest prints, a few witches who clearly enjoy the season more than most, bold red florals, and quieter abstracts in watercolour and stacked stone. Before that came Japanese landscapes, cranes and koi, and a run of cats at their most relaxed. If you've been here before, this is the quickest way to see what's changed since your last visit. If you haven't, it's as good a place as any to start.

About This Collection

New In is where new wall art prints appear when they're added to the shop, so it changes more often than any other page on the site. What follows is a rough guide to the recent batches, though by the time you read it there may well be another one.

Aliens doing ordinary things is the newest series: sixteen prints of extraterrestrial visitors at the bakery, the supermarket, the cinema, the bar and the drive-in, all in the same warm retro palette. The Alien Drive-In Print is a good introduction. They make an unusually strong gallery wall set, and they have their own alien wall art collection so you can see them together.

Autumn and Halloween arrivals include a run of folk-style autumn prints and illustrated bookshops (cottage, corner and ivy-covered, one of them at night) alongside a few witches, a cottagecore ghost and the Vampire Cat Print, a cat who has always looked faintly like this anyway. The cosier end lives in the autumn prints collection and the spookier end in Halloween wall art.

Bold florals and kitchen prints arrived at the end of the summer: red poppies, daisy patterns, a protea, watercolour abstracts, the Pasta Fork Print for the kitchen and the Good Dogs Only Print for anyone who has already made their door policy clear. From the batch before, the Colourful Cat Floral Print and the Wisteria Cascade Print are the pick of the florals.

Japanese nature and animals made up most of the summer. The Natural Forest Print, the Flying Cranes Print, the Koi Fish Shoal Print and the Persian Cat Portrait Print all arrived then, and all four have already found their way into the bestsellers. The rest of the series is in the Japanese prints collection.

Other recent additions include the Say When Cat Wine Print and the Greyhound Wine Print, both of which suggest the animals in this shop have been left unsupervised near the wine rack. To see everything regardless of age, the full catalogue has every print in one place.

What rooms suit the new wall art prints?

Living rooms suit the Japanese landscapes and the larger florals from the summer batches. A forest or crane print at A2 or A1 gives a room a calm focal point without needing anything else on the wall.

Kitchens and dining rooms suit the late-summer arrivals: the pasta and chilli prints, the wine-drinking animals, and the Lemon Tree Courtyard Print for a kitchen that would quite like to be in the Mediterranean.

Bedrooms suit the quieter Japanese prints and the softer florals, while the autumn bookshop prints work well in reading corners, studies and anywhere the kettle is usually on.

For gallery walls, the new series are designed to hang together. Three or four of the alien prints make a set that tells a story, and the autumn prints mix easily with the folk-style florals from the same batch.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are new prints added?

New prints arrive in batches rather than one at a time, usually a whole series or a seasonal set at once. The summer brought Japanese landscapes and animals, the end of the summer brought bold florals and kitchen prints, and early autumn brought the alien series and the autumn and Halloween prints.

Are new prints also listed in the other collections?

Yes. Each new print is also filed under its subject, room and colour collections, so an alien print appears here, in the alien collection and in the funny collection at the same time. New In is simply the quickest way to see the latest arrivals together before they settle into the rest of the catalogue.

Do new prints make good gifts?

New wall art prints have one practical advantage as gifts: the recipient is less likely to own it already. The alien series suits anyone with a dry sense of humour, the autumn bookshop prints suit readers, and the Japanese nature prints suit people whose homes lean calm and uncluttered.

What sizes are available?

Most prints are available in sizes from 5x7 up to A1, with both metric and US paper sizes. Full size options are shown on each individual product page. For the new series designed as sets, A4 and A3 suit gallery walls, while A2 and A1 give a single Japanese landscape or floral real presence.

Can all prints be ordered framed?

Yes. All prints can be ordered framed. We're rolling framed options out across the site, so individual listings will show whether a framed version is currently available. If you'd like a framed version of a print that doesn't yet have that option listed, get in touch and we'll sort it for you.

What is the print quality like?

Prints are produced on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper using a 12-colour press with a matte, glare-free finish. The bold reds and warm autumn tones in the recent batches are where the 12-colour process shows most, keeping them rich rather than flat.

Where do you ship and how long does delivery take?

We ship worldwide via Gelato's global print network, meaning your order is fulfilled close to where you live. Every print is made to order and dispatched promptly, then arrives within 2 to 5 business days of dispatch. Free shipping applies to US and UK orders.
