A mushroom-headed alien stands with an empty shopping trolley outside a fluorescent-lit supermarket at night, one lone tin left on the shelf and a red band running across the black sky. Hard blocks of peach, red and black with a fine, grainy oil texture give it the strange calm of a 24-hour shop at 3am.
