Description

A bold, design-led mid century modern print with real aesthetic credibility. "Mid-Century Modern — Form Studies, California 1956" fills a deep cobalt blue field with organic shapes, sculptural forms, and ceramic vessels in red-orange, olive, mustard, and cream — drawing on the visual language of California modernism and the Case Study Houses era. The composition is dense and layered, with forms that reward attention, and the hand-made illustration quality gives it the kind of presence that mass-produced MCM prints rarely achieve. It works well in a living room, home office, or dining room, and sits naturally alongside mid century modern furniture.

A strong choice for people who want abstract art that's grounded in real design history — not just the aesthetic of it.

Available in twelve sizes, from 5x7 up to A1, professionally printed on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper with a soft matte finish for rich, glare-free colour. If you're looking for a mid century modern print with genuine visual depth and design credibility, this is a really lovely one to have in your home.

This print is gorgeous. I had originally planned to hang it elsewhere, but it is so lovely that I made it the focal point of the living room. We ordered it framed and the frame is nice quality, too.

Customer photo review of Sleeping Cat Japanese Print

Exactly as described and arrived quickly. I misjudged the sizing a bit, so there is no white border on top, but that’s a me problem. I’m super happy with my purchase regardless and would absolutely buy from this store again. Very high quality print.
