Description

This frog print captures two green frogs perched side by side on a slate-blue ledge, a glass of red wine and a pint of beer set between them like two old pals mid-round. Painted with thick, dry-brushed texture in a folk-art style, the frogs' mottled green skin sits against a muted cream ground, with the wine and the glowing orange beer the only strong colour in the piece. It has the deadpan humour of an old pub sign rather than a straight nature study, and suits a kitchen, dining room or bar cart area where a bit of wit on the wall is welcome. It's a natural fit for a wine or beer drinker's kitchen, a home bar, or anyone who likes their animal art with a sense of humour rather than taking itself too seriously. It's available in multiple sizes, professionally printed on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper with a soft matte finish and rich, detailed colour, so the dry-brush texture in the frogs' skin and the glow of the wine and beer hold their depth at any size. Hang it by the bar cart or in the kitchen and let two frogs do the talking before anyone's even poured a drink.

This print is gorgeous. I had originally planned to hang it elsewhere, but it is so lovely that I made it the focal point of the living room. We ordered it framed and the frame is nice quality, too.

Exactly as described and arrived quickly. I misjudged the sizing a bit, so there is no white border on top, but that’s a me problem. I’m super happy with my purchase regardless and would absolutely buy from this store again. Very high quality print.
