Description

A red sun breaks over the rim of a polka-dotted navy coffee cup, gold rays fanning out across a dark sky behind it — a folk art coffee print built entirely around that first jolt of morning colour. The cup sits on a coral tabletop flecked with red and gold, black coffee filling it right to the white rim, and 'THE FIRST CUP' is lettered across a mustard banner underneath. It's a cheerful, graphic piece for a kitchen or breakfast corner that could use a bit of colour before 8am. Pulled from the same loose, dotted school of folk art as a lot of kitchen prints doing the rounds at the moment, this one leans more sunrise poster than still life, with a palette of navy, coral and mustard that works well against white or pale kitchen walls. It suits anyone who takes their coffee seriously, or a dining room that could do with a graphic focal point rather than another framed photograph. Available in multiple sizes and professionally printed on FSC-certified 200gsm fine art paper with a soft matte finish and rich, detailed colour, it works framed for a finished kitchen gallery wall or unframed if you'd rather set it in your own frame. It's a quietly cheerful print for anyone who treats the first coffee of the day as a small ritual worth marking.

Customer photo review of Kyoto Forest Reserve Print

This print is gorgeous. I had originally planned to hang it elsewhere, but it is so lovely that I made it the focal point of the living room. We ordered it framed and the frame is nice quality, too.

Customer photo review of Sleeping Cat Japanese Print

Exactly as described and arrived quickly. I misjudged the sizing a bit, so there is no white border on top, but that’s a me problem. I’m super happy with my purchase regardless and would absolutely buy from this store again. Very high quality print.
